Among my collection of paintings, I found a rather rare works of one of the artists of St. Petersburg.
Elena Ivanovna Plekhan (1911-1988).

She was born in Leningrad. She studied at art studios at Kardovsky (1929-1930) and Rerberg (1930-1931), the Moscow Institute of Advanced Studies of Artists (until 1937). In the 1930s - 1940s, she talked a lot and often visited N. Ulyanov's studio.
In 1948 she graduated from the graphic faculty of the All-Russian Academy of Arts, the teacher - Konashevich Vladimir Mikhailovich. Diploma work: illustrations to the book by A.S. Pushkin "The Tale of the Golden Cockerel", rating: "good."
She worked as a graphic illustrator.
In addition to this picture, I also have a graphic drawing of this artist and it takes a place on the wall in my daughter's room.

Beautiful painting and art, and in my opinion we need amazing vision and great connection with nature to capture this in the art which is created by hand and it's amazingly reflecting the beautiful and wonderful greenery with flowing water and it's also reflecting so lively. And the frame on your wall, making an welcoming effect. Thanks for sharing and wishing you an great day. 🙂

Stay Blessed.
