That's quite the magnificent gemstone!

Thanks. It's the Chalmer's topaz in chicago. I have a couple dozen or more pictures of various other precious stones and impressive crystal formations in the museum's collection. If you are ever in town I suggest you stop by the field museum as they have an impressive mineral and precious stone collection.

If I'm ever in Chicago, it will be specifically to see this museum. I'm following and hoping you'll post more. Thanks

Thanks, and you know what, I will do just that. If you ever end up there, make sure you get there early in the morning. I spent 5 hours there and still missed many exhibits.

San francisco has some pretty good art museums if you're ever in the west coast. Pretty good zoo too lol
