I don't know what this post is about. I guess they call these free writes. I had this idea about how throughout the bear market, even when Steem was in the .20 cent range, I still posted just about everyday. When Steemit laid off 70% of their Staff, I still posted just about everyday. When we were in contentious fork territory, I still posted just about everyday. I'm still posting just about everyday.
I feel like this guy. Whatever it is you're panicking about he's seen worse, he knows it's not the end of the world, he knows tomorrow will just be another day.
Anyone who knows me well would confirm that I'm a stubborn guy, and I've decided that Steem is awesome and it would take something quite apocalyptic to get me to quit.
So be like me and this guy. Just post something. Comment on something you like, participate in the community, give your opinion. It's less important whether you're wrong or right, just that you're participating. That's where my head is at right now. The End. Thanks for looking at my post and drawing! :D

Now I just post when I want and reserve the best of my arts for other social media channels I've signed up for
Steemit used to be my one and only social media ...... heh
But Im still here, and still curating, and still commenting, and still finding new joiners to delegate to, and still writing artists highlights, and still running contests, and still spidering, so ................. STILL FIGHTINGU~

I used to think my commitment to Steemit was 100%... These days, I'm not so sure. Why do I bother visiting, commenting, curating, supporting, sending charity steems, etc.... some days, MAN, I JUST DONNO~
...but I will try to be as tenacious and i will try to keep being positive for as long as i can :)

thanks for the sentiment though, i think it’s probably undoable. im not sure they are jealous. they probably believe 100% that my contributions to steemit isn’t worth that much. it’s fine. all opinions have valid bases to the people holding ‘em.
i can take my energy and commitment and piccars else where, if they are not wanted here, so it might have been a thing that was kinda fated to happen to give me a kick in the bum to finally figure out how to succeed outside of steemit.
and i forgot to say that your drawing is amazing! love the man and your crosshatching and detailing are super, as usual ❤️ love the expression and the hobo hair is nailed 100%..... and that bear face is the best

I hear you, and there's no problem sharing stuff off Steem, I do that too, but if the only thing that's stopping you from posting on Steem is someone's subjective opinion on the value, I'd hope you don't let that get to you.
The people who are upvoting you, myself included, are not necessarily upvoting a drawing. They're supporting a person. That's the natural progression here on Steem. People start out supporting your content, but after you've made connections with people on a more personal level, they're just supporting YOU, and I can tell you, you've earned every bit of Steem you've gotten, probably under rewarded in my opinion.
So yea, nothing wrong with sharing work in other places, but Steem is more than just an impersonal, here's a drawing, reward me based on how good it is. There are real people behind those votes and where they cast them is how they communicate value. If someone disagrees they can downvote, or suck it :)

Ahh unfortunately once you've been anywhere long enough (doesn't matter whether it's Facebook or dA or here apparently) you're going to bump into weird people, especially if you really put yourself out there like you've been doing. It's one of the reasons why I'm generally super cautious about getting involved with people or things (been there done that can't be bothered these days XD).
Don't let other people ruin things you enjoy anyway, ignore them or work around them and hang out with us ;D

That guy looks like he gives less than zero fucks XD or maybe I'm just brainwashed into thinking that way because of the speech bubble, but it's still a great expression.
Think the only times I haven't posted, commented or at the very absolute bare minimum upvoted is because stuff was insanely busy or we got sick (a "flu like virus" decided to visit and stayed for a couple of weeks, we had awesome fun times like having to run children with excessive temperatures to hospitals). I still know sfa about markets and still don't care at all XD

Yea, you've been super consistent. I think a lot of people here undervalue that. Everyone is concerned with the hot new dapp, or tweaking economics, but none of that matters if people don't want to show up.
