This is a little older piece back from schooldays. It stands on my desk at home gathering dust, quite literally. I welded the main structure from steel rods that were bent to shape and sharpened. The feathers are made from bandsaw blades that were heated hardened to get that chime(see the video at bottom), and got that nice rough look to them as a bonus. The blades are bound with little rings that were shaped and cut from a wire. I had this outside for a while but like all wind chimes, it gets old after a while :p
