Unshared Paintings | Vast Horizon of Art

           Being able to take part in this community has significantly affected my perception in art. There really is a wide horizon in perception, ideas, and deep knowledge in every artist of what they are doing that is more than mere feeling. But also reason- a reason why we make art.

Most of us know the feeling of being moved by a work of art, whether it is a song, a play, a poem, a novel, a painting, or a spatio-temporal experiment. When we are touched, we are moved; we are transported to a new place that is, nevertheless, strongly rooted in a physical experience, in our bodies. We become aware of a feeling that may not be unfamiliar to us but which we did not actively focus on before. This transformative experience is what art is constantly seeking. -Olafur Eliasson, Artist

          For more than a month of being here, I had many reasons why I sketch and paint. A reason of boredom and sometimes the feeling of loneliness. Truly art can do something to our brains that sends signal of changing the mood into better sways. Some were made out of an ecstatic feeling I felt that day while some are scribbles that just pops out of my head. Like when I remember a song of my favorite band and suddenly I want to make art out of it you know? That kind of feeling.

          While most are made out of pastime, others are made with a little insight of perfection. I wanna show you my favorite paints because I believe that one important role of an artist is to influence other people into giving them something that motivates or encourages them in a way that puts them to thinking about the art that you make.

          Engaging in art represents culture and worldly experience. And this is my representation of an empowered woman.

To close one's eyes is truly seeing something more than meets the eye.

          Lastly, I believe the most important thing for me as an amateur artist is to spread good vibes to the audience by just a simple glimpse of an artwork. It is something significant for every person in the world to be happy especially when we are clouded with life's intricacies.
