SOY ROSA || COMMISSION

in art •  6 years ago

Sometimes life brings you beautiful people who want to help you and see you grow, in my case brought @soyrosa, she decides to trust me to make a portrait of her and she gives me the time I ask her to wait with curiosity to see the result.

I drew it several times before I got the result I wanted to color it and in the process it occurred to me to put a rose background on it.

So without further ado I present the result:

The process has been quite interesting and fun, combine two images to create a single illustration always change the game, plus the game of roses let me use a wider range of colors, but do not believe me better see:

Wow so cool @soyrosa! I was looking at the curie approved posts, to see Soyrosa. And then I saw it's not her post.. my curiosity was drawn to this post as I started doubting the fact that I would have sworn that this is Soyrosa lol. But this is really cool! Great job, and totally recognizable... Congrats on the curie too!

Amazing work! Love the colors!

Thank you very much!!! <3

Truly wonderful and I am here thanks to @soyrosa and you've done her proud in this protrait.

As I was saying to her, this has a very 19th century feel mixed with tech which I personally love and try to incorporate a bit in my things as well. I am happy to follow and see another great talented artist in our growing steemit artist community!

I really appreciate this kind of comments and support, combining the physical with the digital I feel that it is an amazing way of expressing oneself in art and now it should be given importance because many artists do it and get amazing results, it is atexture of the pencil or the watercolors with digital coloring and editing achieve amazing results

That's a beautiful portrait and quite an striking resemblance

Thanks, I have not had the opportunity to assemble the photos but I did several practices before arriving at that portrait

I saw the resemblance right away, well done!

That's a very cool portrait, Rosas and the personification of the plant in a person, in this case a person who shares that beautiful name. Your work is magnificent.

Have you come back to the future just to tell me that? Damn you are amazement! Thanks for those beautiful words!!

That is so pretty and I love the progress photos too. The combination of colors and roses fits Rosanne perfectly. Was this your choice or she suggested how it should look like?

It truly is a beautiful portrait. I guess she will hang it on a wall in her living room :)

Do you paint couples as well? If so, I may contact you on discord :)

First of all thank you very much, it was my choice that seemed right to me

I hope she prints it and put it on her wall hahahaha

Of course I paint couples <3, contact me on discord and we can do business :D

This is so beautiful. @soyrosa must feel so proud and happy with the result. I must say i love your style. I won't be surprised if you get requests for portraits from steemians after this job. Lovely work and congrats on the curie vote too!

howdy from Texas misssadeyes! This is such a fun post and what a wonderful portrait you've done of soyrosa!
This is so good that I am assuming that you specialize in doing portraits for people?

Yes, I already have a time doing portraits, by the way I'm with promotion prices for being the month of my birthday, write me to discord if you are interested, thank you for commenting, what do you like most about the portrait?

howdy back misssadeyes! Well what I like most is the accuracy of the face and her expression and then the red flowers really set it off!
