Banana Trees
Taking slow steady breaths
At the gush of the wind
Swaying and dancing to the cardinal points
East or west which to go
Your legs are your arms
Your Arms are like cloaks
But not so bad looking ones
You cast a shade as a dancing African masquerade
Like you and your band are on parade
Where is your face
North or south which to look
But I know
I know your face is the mind
That's why you keep swaying everyday
Dancing at everyone that passes by,
Hoping we look at you and see our face
The face of our mind
At the gush of the wind
Can i pluck your bananas banana
