There was a time when I painted every day. Then nothing could stop me. I was not afraid of bad weather and there was no urgent business.
I really like old things. They were made with love and patience. Modern things are made soulless machines.
With modern architecture there is a similar story. People build thousands of identical houses with thousands of similar windows.
