When the holidays roll around,
there’s always a scramble.
Buy, buy, buy, goodbye —
it’s overwhelming for me.
I always want to buy the right gift,
but I also feel guilty contributing to toxic capitalism & supporting big businesses —
whose values often don’t align with my own.
So, in order to get unique & beautiful gifts that I can feel good about purchasing
& giving to my loved ones,
I try to buy from local artisans.
I shop small.
This year, the gifts I’m most excited to gift are all hand-made & sold by women running their own small businesses.
That’s the kind of woman I strive to be!
& here is one of them:
Etta Kostick grew up creating, and it shows.
Her sun-catchers are simple, elegant & timeless.
I love them so much, I bought 2!
& i think I wrapped them nicely 🥰
shhhhhh.... don’t tell my auntie !!

She makes beautiful jewelry, too.
