"Home, Sweet Home"/Liner and markers on paper/60x86cm/summer 2017

Hi Steemit! My name is Anna Maria. I am finishing my first year in textile art in Art Academy of Latvia. I though love more making art just for myself because I can feel totally free in expressing myself which is quite important for me. Anyway I decided to go studying art again to meet new techniques and ways in order to express myself better which was a good idea. I finished Janis Rozentals Riga Art highschool in 2016 painting department and then I went to study in Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry, I did not choose the right department though(wooden furniture restoration) and did not want to study at all at that moment so I left it in November and decided to have some fun(which was not fun all the time at all). After some time living in the Netherlands I understood that I maybe need a diploma, some extra time to think and so this summer I went back to Riga to study again and chose the textile art department(I don't really know why!). Right now I am learning to weave there and I totally love it! I will post some weaving works later also. Anyway I am home now and I have some space to make my art again so I begin my profile with one of my most favourite work I made this summer "Home, Sweet Home"/Liner and markers on paper/60x86cm/summer 2017 :)
