A Look Into My Sketchbook: February-March 2018

in art •  7 years ago

It's been a couple of  very harsh and cold months here in Berlin, that have been made been a little better thanks to my trusty sketchbook. So I'de like to share the sketches that came out. I mostly drew in fine-liners or pencils:

A few of these drawings were created in museums-excursions, most of them are drawings at a bar of friends and some are just random things:

Some of these sketches are visually striking, with a real strenght :)
Nice training work :)

Thanks so much @berien, I would love to know which specific ones you mean? Always interesting to see it from the viewpoint of someone else! :)

I followed you, love your style and that quirky robot!

thanks :)
All are interesting, but if seeking for the right little things that calls attention :

  • there's this small hooded guy that called my eyes (5th photo), I like its contrasts between face and hood's shadow, same with the overlapping of hair/face above clothing.

  • 8th photo : bottom right portrait -> it's expressivity. The other ones are great too, but I find this one has that "little thing" and I think It's the instant that was captured :)

Some of my favorites as well, again thank you so much for your comment :)
