Draw on Blockchain : CCP Episode 18 illustration preview

Hello Streemian, long time haven't update the illustration of Chinese Culture Poem. This week is a very famous poem which I studied in primary school. "If you want to see the view of miles away, you have steps to higher levels". Let's check the process.

好久沒有UPDATE CCP的插圖了。這周是一首小學生時已學的絕句。看英文應該能猜出是哪首了吧？中文就先假裝賣個關子。

I use first person point of view. Standing in the tower and looking to the sunset.

第一身視覺，在古樓上看日落

Deciding sunset colour and draft at the same time.

草圖跟顏色一起做，氣氛比較重要

I found a 360 view from the view tower on Internet. I thought it was very close to the Yellow River, in fact it has a little bit distance.

And add colour and lighting to the banister.

找到一個360角度的圖，一直以為樓邊就是黃河，但原來也有一點點小距離，故給它一個小草坪

給欄杆顏色和光影

Sorry it seems jumped a bit.

For the step:

Draw a darker ground by tree brush. With some highlight and multiply layer.

Highlight of the mountain with red, orange and yellow.

Light blue colour dodge on the river. White dot for reflection.

Thin cloud, according to the poem, there is a "white sky". I try not to make it too white for a more romantic view^^

跳得有點快，因為忘了截圖了。

過程是加深了草地，只在河邊的加了HIGHLIGHT

黃河用淺藍做了一層COLOUR DODGE，黃得來又不會太像咖哩，也有一點點反光

用紅、橙和黃來HIGHLIGHT了山脈

加了層薄雲，因為詩裡有說是白日，但我又想浪漫一點，太白了有點死板^^

Finally add the darker surrounding to make it a bit more focus and moody. Also the title board and texture layer as usual.

最後加了一圈晚空，氣氛氣氛。視線也再集中一點。然後就是定番題目框和TEXTURE了
