Drawings of ice

in art •  7 years ago

Today I will not write much. I think on Sunday we all have something to do. Tomorrow, many people, including me, should go to work. By this I'll just show a few beautiful pictures - ice textures.

Baikal ice is something unusual. What remains in your memory for always. Photos do not convey a small fraction of those feelings. Hundreds of miles of ice, each piece of which is a work of art.
Getting on the ice, even adults start behaving like children. Creep back and forth, something to look at, shoot, and sometimes just skate)

These patterns occupy the whole expanse of the lake. And you can find there just about anything. Not only abstract pictures, but also some almost meaningful subjects.

And in one year, a cold, up to -25 weather, suddenly changed to warm and it began to rain. After it, the ice became quite unusual, like a frosted glass.

Articles besides cracks, drawings are formed by bubbles of methane. Sometimes they are many, as if the ice is covered with freckles. And sometimes there is almost no, and then blackness becomes almost cosmic ...
And yes, we also dive there. But this is a completely different story)

Russia, Baikal lake ice.

There's something oddly charming with the color of black, teal and white. Its really hard to describe that feeling when I see the last two pictures

You make incredible stuff! Really, this is so impressive!
