I recently saw this old cross with an icon near one of our city churches.
Cross probably for many years. Brass pads are made at the ends of the cross; now they don’t do that.
They take care of the cross, it is clean and the icon is well preserved. Here you can see for yourself.

Кресту наверное уже много лет. На концах креста сделаны медные накладки, сейчас так не делают.
За крестом ухаживают, он чистый и иконка хорошо сохранилась. Вот можете сами увидеть.
