It's that time of the week again! Time to request free art!
From now until 11:59pm CST on Sunday September 17th, 2017, I will be accepting Freebie Friday WEEKEND requests!
If you make a request and I ask you for more information regarding your request and you do not respond to me within a reasonable amount of time, I will likely not bother with your request. There are many people waiting for freebies that reply to requests for additional information.
I am now putting my foot down when it comes to some of the types of requests I'll accept. (Any prior Freebie Friday requests that fits this criteria will still be fulfilled. However, no new requests of this nature will be accepted.)
I will no long accept requests for the following during Freebie Fridays:
- Banners
- Cover Images
- Profile Pictures/Icons/Avatars
- Post and/or comment headers and/or signatures
- Drawing your photos (I will accept photo references of pets/animals/objects, but I will not draw the requested subject in great detail)
- Any other request that I deep too complicated/detailed to draw for a freebie
If you want any of the above drawn, you will have to commission me, for money or an exchange of services, to draw them for you. I love giving away free art, I do. But I am also trying to make a living with my art, and accepting overly complicated and detailed requests for free art has been part of the problem with falling so far behind. (Other major contributors have been migraines, real life health issues, and other commitments that have paid me actual money which is very much needed and several other various reasons.)

Thank you for offering up your art for free. I appreciate you also communicating the value of your work. I found your post whilst searching for similar ideas and methods of sharing my own. If you'd like to collaborate in some fashion on a weekly or monthly giveaway that invites other artists to participate (so your not doling out all your time & energy) I would be inclined. Find me @workshopco-op or @workshopartcoop on other social media outlets - I'm a quick-to-learn noob. Bear with me.

The freebies I offer are usually cute things. Someone asks me to draw their cat, or a tiger, or a dog, or a mouse, or the Batmobile from the 60s Batman live action series.
I'm not interested in out-sourcing the work for Freebie Fridays (because in this instance, that's what you're proposing rather than collaborating) because of the reason why Freebie Fridays exist in the first place. But I'm not against collaborating in general.
