Pennywise MoneyArt by Occupy Wallets... ("Lincoln Floats, We All Float Down Here!")

Just finished a new moneyart piece... I will just keep drawing my ass off and wait for the world to notice... I was just barely able to pay my rent of $500 this month... If you like the art, help me turn it into food and weed and paint, and of course rent...

This one began when I noticed the Lincoln Memorial on the back of a $5 bill in my pocket... It would make a cool rapper grill for a close-up, or the belly of a decepticon posing as a Washington DC landmark... But as soon as I realized it could be a storm drain for Pennywise to be hiding in, I started trying to figure out the weird perspective shifts I was about to attempt...

I always start with a pencil sketch, but typically I forget to snap a photo... The real reason I have a pic is because I sent it to artists with more skills than I have, asking for advice... I really should have made the storm drain with the same perspective as the road, but oops... So we proceed...

Still uncertain I could actually pull it off, I figured the worst that could happen is I could spend it for $5...

But yet, it had potential... I kept adding layers and trying not to overdo it... I haven't seen the movie, though I did read the Stephen King book, 'IT' in 1992... Who was even alive in 1992? If so, good for you!

It just needed more details, and I took a lot of shots on the way because of my insecurity over this one...

The hair helped... and darkening the curb, to give it some texture... Another challenge was to not completely cover up the design of the $5 bill... I like to leave some of it exposed for added lulz...

Anyway, enjoy this... I am hoping to get a canvas going soon, my first one in years, and I never finished the ones in years past... Still not ready for brushes, but my paint markers will do fine... Here is a preliminary sketch I did for it, an image of Chtulu sitting at the edge of the sea, calling all the steemians to come drown... And a STEEMIT Logo pitchfork of course...
