Coffee is brewing, fancy a croissant?

in art •  8 years ago

The air is filled with dew, and the smell of fresh coffee brewing is floating out from the kitchen window. It's a bit noisy, the bees are busy buzzing from one plant to the next and the local donkey from the farm opposite is saying good morning to the whole village.

A glorious morning. I've been stood outside drawing this magnolia tree. The flowers seem to be eternal, I've never know a magnolia bloom as long as this, it must be the French air!

I think I like this simple drawing the most. I'm really into using coloured paint pens at the moment. I just like the simple look of coloured line.

Time to add some more colour. I'm using Koh-I-Noor watercolours for this, they have a rich ink quality to them.

oh my goodness, the pictures are stunning and your drawings are too! Why yes, I'll have a cup of joe with you! As for croissants... I actually took the time to make some from scratch. They were delicious but looked like alien snot instead of pretty croissants. (I lost patience and rushed it) I may have to write about it! LOL

Wow making croissants from scratch, super talented, super yummy! I like an almond croissant if you are taking orders.

I really enjoy painting with you. You are such a pleasure to hang out with.

It's lovely to have you here, next time you can make the coffee!

It's a latte art , Rosetta - always love these with my strong latte

I'm going to have to up my coffee making game now!

beautiful as always opheliafu.. Except I am having a marijuana cigarette with my coffee this morn and a stroop waffle. :)

Just had to google what a stroop waffle was... looks yummy!

They the best. You leave it on your coffee cup and the steem from the coffee makes it all warm and soft inside. Sticky toffee slightly melted . Nothing better I am telling you!

Ahhh, that sounds so good!

It really depends on how you make them ) 100% with butter... hmmmmm, lovely!

From the boulangerie down the road... lots of butter!

W... wait, that's a magnolia tree?
I've never seen pink magnolias before!! o A o)
(The magnolia trees around here look kinda different.)

Those pink ones are actually kinda pretty...

Yes, pink! I've seen pink and white in Northern Europe. They are very pretty :D

That's really neat! It never really occurred to me that plants have variants in other locations.
I live in America - all I've ever seen are white Mississippi magnolia trees. It's so strange seeing another version! It's really cool! ^-^)b

I think it's a chinese variety.. or originates from there.

It feels great creating art outdoors, doesn't it?

It's the best! Monet had the right idea.

Wow good job opheliafu i Like the pictures i follow you now upvoted

Thanks @achim86

The magnolia bloom looks great..I think the bumble-bee wanted to be in the painting :)

I think he did... maybe the next one!

Нappiness in the little things ... thanks for reminding me about this @opheliafu

A pleasure @sompitonov

great as always, fresh and bright. me friend has brought me very-very good coffe from Antigua, going to drink some

Good coffee is always valued here. How does it taste?

it`s taste and flvoure is perfect, me friend who brought me this coffe is gourmand and my tastes-guru))), he lives in the other country and when he comes, he always brings the most delicious parmigiano, the most delicious coffee and chocolate

I need a friend like that!

Nice job of capturing the angle of the sunlight in a suble way and working it into the motion of your piece. I enjoyed immersing myself into all the images of this post and has been a great way to start my day.

That's why I love to paint in the morning. Beautiful light.

Beautiful as always. I love the bee on the magnolia. I have rose bush out the front of my shop with seemingly eternal blooms. I love flowers. Too bad my toddlers like to eat them so I have a home devoid of flowers and pot plants at the moment.

I'm not sure how to answer this @bridgetbunchy! Could you swap to edible flowers like pansies?

What a wonderful environment you have to do your art work. You could actually consider submitting the picture with the flower and the bee to the current SteemitPhotoChallenge. You would have my upvote for that one ;-)

Ooohhh I don't think i'm a good enough photographer for the Steemit photo challenge!

This is so cute, and I love the snail surprise at the end!

Thank you! She is a quirky little snail.

There is something about seeing the art with the paint set. It makes it all that much more real somehow. I can't explain it! Another great post!

Even better with food!
