Equinox
The autumnal equinox in the Northern Hemisphere begins today, Monday, 23 September. As the weather starts to become colder and the nights roll in earlier I'm looking upwards, waiting for the first signs of the leaves changing colour. Don't tell Summer, but Autumn is my favourite season.
An ink drawing
The drawing was created using my dip pen, brush and black drawing inks to draw the figure and branches of the tree. I then used inks, leaves and a roller to print the leaves onto the image, there are tiny bits of green visible beneath the ink that have been transferred from the crushed leaves.

I'm not a huge fan of colder weather and earlier nights but I do like the changing color of the tree leaves. That's one great thing about autumn. Nice drawing. I bet the season is very inspiring for an artist like yourself.
