Money talks

In this post you can see the illustration 'Money' that I created for Chapter Thirty Seven of @dougkarr's amazing novel Dwelling.

Axlerod dropped an envelope, fat as those bitches asses, on the glass.
"My father's lost nearly half a mil on that girl since the day she moved in."

Creating an illustration for Dwelling

The drawing was sketched out lightly in pencil, then areas were masked out. Tissue was laid over the paper, and water and inks added, the tissue was then removed and the paper left to dry.

A dip pen, brush and drawing ink was used to create the drawing.

No longer bashful, Rube fingered open the flap right in front of the landlord. Air mail was stacked. Fuck you money.

Nicely done. If only your drawing could be worth as much as the denomination of paper money. LOL Thanks for sharing. @opheliafu
