Queen Tree

When the resources ran out, and the people moved on, nature reclaimed what was hers.

Queen Tree

She uncurled her branches and stretched her arms to the sky

Then summoned a storm and called out to the behemoths.

They stomped and crushed the metal destroyers as they made their way across the land.

She reached to the ground and pushed her fingers down through the soil

Sending a message to every plant.

''Push up the concrete, the roads, the paving slabs with your roots and your seedlings

Make green the sharp corners of these grey cold trees.

Reclaim what was stolen and bring back my green land''.

Developing a cyanotype print. The image on the left is of the negative laid over paper while being exposed to UV light, the image on the right is of the print being washed before the colour has darkened.

Great stuff. I enjoyed reading. I'm new to Steem and look forward to stumbling on great writing such as yours.

That tree should release an ICO, 1 square meter per coin.

What would you call this ICO?

The QT, oh yeah!

The branches looks like lightings!:) Awesome art:)

Yes, definitely on the negative! Are you still having replies disappear? I keep replying to comments and then they go again.

Love this. Your words brought vivid images to my mind :D

I'm very lazy- I make your imagination do all the work!!

hehehehe sounds like a great plan to me :P

Very Nice post.

Please Have a look at my photos as well if you'd like. Thanks!

Are they of spiders?

Love your feed. Its always an inspiration @opheliafu

I'm happy I can inspire, thank you!

Always love your cyanotypes. Sharp colors and edges contrast so well with nature pics.

The subject matter had an interesting silhouette so the cyanotype was a good medium for it. Thank you @realcodysimon

thank you for sharing

I'm happy to be part of your morning @jlufer!

Beautiful poetry! And cyanotype print.

Thank you @anca3drandom :D

Great imagery! The power of a seedling to break concrete always amazed me!

I think it's amazing when you see places that have been taken over by nature, and the concrete begins to crumble as the plants and trees push through.

I love the old home ruins in Salvador, Brazil. Baroque era mansions invaded by nature

nice poetry, will follow you and looking forward to more ;)

Excellent @kitcat, thank you!

Thanks @writemore

Thank you!

ok friend

Beautiful and very moving. I really believe there is more to trees than people think. When I am deep within them I can just barely hear them whisper to me. Their air goes in and out of us while ours returns the favor. We are linked to them in numerous ways and I do not think we always appreciate them enough.

Cor blimey that's a cracker. The words so perfectly compliment it too
