A crime not to have a slice

Today, I'm showing you an ink illustration called 'Slice' that I created for Chapter Forty-Six of Dwelling by @dougkarr. Dwelling is a thrilling crime novel set in New York’s Lower East Side.

Rube laid pepperoni on a uncooked pie, backing the counter of Rosarita's 'Loogie Hawks by da Slice.' He whipped it in the oven, and set the timer.

The drawing was created using black drawing inks, a brush and a dip pen.

Suddenly the after-lick of pepperoni turned against him, Rube felt nasty in the pit of his paunch.

Although in black and white that pizza ration looks delicious, @opheliafu. The play of lights and shadows makes her look original, an extraordinary job, my dear. I liked it very much and very relevant to illustrate the chapter of the novel. A hug.
