An ink drawing
Looking up at the clouds today it's hard to tell if it is going to rain or not, the weather reports say no, but the clouds are saying something different.
In this drawing the figure is lying down on the ground and looking up at the grey skies above, waiting patiently for the raindrops to fall on their face.
The background for the drawing was created by applying layers of ink and water to the paper with a brush. When the paper was dry I added the details to the figure using my dip pen and black drawing inks.

Hi @opheliafu ,Reading your post ,i remerber , I woke my son just to tell him, son it's raining, it was 5 in the morning, the rain only lasted about 7 minutes ha ha ha, my son tells me. mom next time wait for the storm to start, it was very funny ha ha ha.

The rain woke us this morning, it was so heavy. Then it turned sunny, but just as I went to hang out the washing I felt raindrops.

I feel like that some days. Just laying there looking up at the sky or ceiling with a blank expression on my face. It's usually when the weather is cloudy and glum as well. Fortunately yesterday wasnt une of those days. Today might be though. We will see.
