Here is another artwork of mine that can fit for today's ColorChallenge! These "Walking houses" is a mixed media painting with terracotta part inserted in the cardboard surface.

The kind of clay I used becomes orange when it is cooked. The same orange color we can se in ancient terracotta statues found in graves 2700 years old. Even in graves discovered not far from here: the italian region I live in was in fact part of the Etruscan kingdom (the name "Tuscany" comes from "Etruscan").
