Seven new drawings and a visual thought about decentralization

in art •  7 years ago  (edited)

Here are my drawings and sketches from the last couple of days. Some of them are also my way to think, using images, to the concept of decentralization, not just as regards the blockchain technology.

I thought a bit about this idea reading the post of @kevinwong, @dantheman and others, and reading also the considerations of vbuterin on Reddit. This is the last I read.

Some of those thoughts look a bit too utopian and idealistic to me, but I like that kind of utopia anyway.

Every picture tells a thousand words , exactly what's seems to be the case here

Quite a selection. There are stories begging to be told with them!

probably. but I can't tell them in a better way ;)

That's a lot of sketches !

Great pieces giving awesome visuals in different ways all on a great subject, really love these.

Enigmatic drawings. I am sure they want to transmit some idea but I don't know what.

Amazing art..i like post

Enjoyed, I especially like the gestural lines of shading on the portraits. Followed.

fantastic, great emotions ... i liked the fishes and the first 2 i would put it in a bar, the third i called it "diabolic thought" the eyes and the slightly opened mouth almost make you think about what he think it is like he suddenly got captive/possessed by a wicked idea ,..

Favorite: first one.

Upvoted and reestemed! great ideas

Utopia is important and Its time mankind starts following positive visions. I was a teenager in the 70s, a time when (western) Europe finally enjoyed some peace and prosperity and yet all visions were about dystopia. I grew up with the ideas of Orwell, Huxley and the likes... and look at our world. Its almost, as if they gave us a roadmap..

So, time for some positive input. When enough people have a vision of a bright and beautiful utopia, may that will materialize as well some day :-)

Love your drawings, particularly the first and the blue one with the white lines :-)

thx Reinhard. I agree, positive utopia gives a push. I just hope it's not another disappointment. I'm 53 yo so I remember the dreams of my generation too

Same generation... remember how we thought, in the year 2000 technology will have solved all problems on the planet? Hahah... they forgot to consider greed in all these visions... But I have read a lot of encouraging things lately and hopefully mankind will choose a better route :-)

I'm sure there is a better route. Hope we will choose it :)
