I thought to try something new, something different for me. I thought was something #abstract until an art critic told me that this is not abstract, but silhouette art.
I usually go for the unusual, especially that which isn't typical in North America. This is a bamboo plant in white silhouette-with a blue-green background.
I was thinking that this would look nice in a light airy room also unframed, perhaps in an apartment/flat.
The details and edges weren't easy to do. Using tape to define the edges gave me some difficulty, because pulling it away pulled tiny pieces of the acrylic paint away. A small tipped paint brush and palette knife helped some.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing this painting.
