Looking at tutorials seems to make me a little better everyday..or some days :-) This evening, I wanted to practice digital inking. Here are my steps
Basic forms and contours
A little tracing
Details, tracing and definitions
Cleaning up and adding rocks to rhe background
Then I scanned it to the computer and coloured it with gimp. 4 layers, outlines, base color, shadows and highlights.

i dont know why but i dont like the way the digital inked version looks like, maybe it needs a bit more depth idk. but i love the way the sketches look!
