Hello everybody!! today i´ll show you another oil painting but this time it´s a little study painting about one of my favorites artists of all times, Rembrandt!!,
Rembrandt was a very famous Baroque artist, considered the most important in dutch art history. He used to work a wide range of styles but portraits, self-portraits and landscapes are the most recognized… that´s why i thought it was a great Opportunity to try to make one of his famous self portraits paintings to learn a little about it. i really enjoyed a lot to make this portrait and even when my work is different compared to the original i think i could understand how to create some atmospheres through color.
