Me With My Work.

Cup Model.jpg

I don't always take selfies, but when I do, I'm drinking whiskey out of a tea cup. My tea has horse power.

It's to show off the cup I used for reference to make the piece. I like the idea of having a matching set to give when the day comes that someone makes this painting theirs. I just started another piece yesterday as I wrote about, featuring the Canadian legacy - The House Hippo. Cutest PSA to tell kids not to believe everything they hear that I think we've ever had. I don't even know if kids today have that.

Mind you, kids today have so much more access to information than I did as a young person. You had to go to libraries and take specific classes to get skills. Now there's Youtube, google, and even google academic, which shows cited research. I remember some months back, maybe even a couple years, I was thinking I might have to give my niece the 'sexuality talk'. I suspected my ultra-religious sister might shy away from said topic, but when it actually came up, the kid knew 100x what I did at her age. I forgot.... she has a phone! It connects to the internet. She probably knows way more than I do just in general.

Anyway, kids today have such an intellectual advantage. Hopefully they balance it with the permanent grassroots movement to maintain physical and mechanical skills. I think people who worry about screen time are just fulfilling their duty as older generation by being overly critical.

So yeah, this is me. This is my work.

ahaaaaa look awesome. yeah I Strongly agree with you. kids nowadays are more intelligent than us. because there are a lot of facilities for them to learn from. in our time we had not facilitated like this. this is now technology Era which has made everything easily accessible.

Thank you, @mashwanii! I think they have a really good resource, for sure, but also they'll need to become more critical than we had to be, growing up. There's a lot more available to them, but there's also a lot of nonsense to sift through.

Yeah. visual resources are available. which have made learning easy.

I like this @rachelsvparry

excellent life story and excellent art style rachelsvparry masterpiece

This life is too short bro, enjoy your life to the fullest. You are right concerning information. kids nowadays are more enlighten because of the advancement in technology. Nice write up with good expression. Nice picture too

Thanks bro

If only kids studied, but they rather sit on social media or watch some inappropriate material. That's all they get from the internet.
Not sure if it's advantage because they don't use it lol.

Haha! Well, I can't speak for you, @yaan, but I found soooooo many things to distract myself instead of study as a kid. I'm actually really impressed by what a lot of them are gleaning from online. As if we didn't find a way to look at contraband material in class!

I mean, there also seem to be more people who believe the earth is flat, but maybe it's just that it's easier for them to come together via internet.

Where do you find people who believe that earth is flat? :D
I've never found any. But I think the shape of the earth doesn't really matter.
And I also like unordinary ideas, it is less boring with them around.

Haha! You might get a kick out of this - It's so hard to tell what's satire and what's not!

Oh well... If it helps them in their life then let them believe in what they believe.
But what about the theory that we live in the matrix. Or that we live on a giant turtle.
Matrix and Turtle people we should unite and show em!
Flat-earthers should not take all attention to themselves!

Very nice work. Followed. On Instagram too....

Cool, thanks. Saw you followed on twitter and followed you back. :)

your work reminds me of this
