Sometimes you have to try new techniques to know if it suits you or if you can learn from it. Today I wanted to try charcoal and found a nice photo of an elefant drinking water.
When you are used to graphite it is hard to draw with charcoal. It is difficult to get the details you get with graphite but in another way the drawing have more personality. It's more like a sketch than a drawing.
Anyway I hope you like it
