That moment when you as an artist can't believe your own eyes. When you are amazed by your own skill and don't know if it's really you who made this.
I have seen myself develop a lot over this past month or two. I have a sense of detail I didn't have before and I feel like I get more depth in my drawings.
The journey of your own development is so joyful and gives you the motivation to get even better. I want to share my 3 best car drawings I am the most proud of and I hope you like them as much as I do :)
"Eleanor" Mustang GT500
First we have "Eleanor" of course. The 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 from the movie Gone in 60 seconds. This was my favorite car when I was young. I so badly wanted to have one, and now I have one that I made myself :) Not drivable unfortunately ;)
Porsche 356, a rarity
When I was finished with this drawing I could stare at it for hours. After a while I didn't know if I was looking at my drawing or the original photo. I started to look in the reflection and imagined how it looked like behind the camera that took the picture.
1930s Ford Hot Rod
This is my latest creation and I am really happy with the result. Maby I could do some minor changes but overall it's finished. Sometimes you have to just look at it to notice the mistakes you made. But the best thing is that I can change them :)
