Red Dragonfly Reprise: Return to a Basic Love of Photography

in art •  5 years ago

For those who have followed our blog for a long time, you might remember that it was my hope to continue the legacy of the Red Dragonfly Gallery as an online store and art blog.

What we might call "Life" seems to have somewhat gotten in the way of actively blogging, so I have decided to get back to one of my old loves: Photography.

I never claimed to be much good at it, just enthusiastic, and curious about space, patterns... and particularly the juxtaposition of nature and architecture.

At least it will help keep our little footprint on the web somewhat alive until we can get to a point where there's a new working plan.

Hard Work and Letdowns

It always feels like a bit of a letdown, when something you have poured a lot of effort into comes to an unfortunate or untimely end.

Perhaps all we do — when we feel sad and reflective about what's gone — is try to revisit and process what could have been, as a means of dealing with what actually IS.

And what IS, at the moment, is a lot of work on things not relating to our old gallery.

Thanks for reading!
