I was browsing through my home stream here on Steemit a week ago and saw this amazing photograph catching the details of lizard scales. I went into bliss, yeah I am weird that way, I love details, especially if they have to do with patterns. I love drawing details, I leave time and everyday thoughts and just draw, like I am the pen and paper.
I spent the day drawing out the design to fit on my paper and adding details to see how they would flow. I think I found what I like and now I am inking in some detail before getting back to penciling in the rest of the lizards patterns. I don't know if I am going to go with watercolor or something else for color or just stay with pen and ink.

I don't know if i will go with colored pencil or watercolor, I'm leaning towards colored pencil. I haven't worked with colored pencil for awhile and the medium is always fun to work with. I like to mix my media lololol

My pencils look so lonely sitting on the shelf all summer, I've used colored pencil with ink before and it gives an interesting look with a lot of detail.

When I look into reptiles eyes, they remind me of my chickens eyes and chickens are very smart and can be loving and kind. Science says reptiles are cold and have no emotions, I don't agree. Just look at the light in their eyes!
