You can easily pick up "broken" ones on Ebay and the like. They usually sell them for parts. You might even be able just to source the glass somewhere, after all, there is a factory somewhere producing this glass.

Of course you pass the cost on in your final sale price and you would save your clients the grief of a fractured work. Then again, it depends if you're happy to be offering remakes of works that met an untimely end. ;-)
