"Juniper Blossoms of Splendid Sour"

Juniper blossoms of splendid sour
Toll like the clocks, on the hour
But power, they say
Is sour
When the bussoms run dry
And men beseech the day
Women cry
For the hour of gin approaches
And we sip again of him
Which encroaches
The hour on high
And we drink
Under the desert sky
Like cockroaches run thin
Deprived of whiskey sours

    I quite like how you transformed a common small tree on the side of the road/a house(presumably) into something mystical yet incredibly distinct!

    Oh and I love any and all rhymes involving Encroaching!
