Just finished the second drawing of my new serie, inspired by the Greek mythology. With today, in leading role: 'KRONOS'

Kronos' father Ouranos, who was jealous of all his sons, threw them back into the depths of the earth. Kronos' mother Gaia wanted revenge and urged Kronos to castrate his father. Kronos did this with a sickle. He then became ruler in his father's place. He married his sister Rheia, but he did not want any of the children born of this marriage to stay alive, because his parents had predicted that one of those children would take his rule away from him. As soon as the children were born, he devoured them with skin and hair. So he swallowed Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades and Poseidon successively. When Rheia was expecting Zeus, she moved to Crete and gave birth there in secret. To deceive Kronos, she gave him a cloth wrapped in cloth, which was swallowed by Kronos. That way Zeus was spared. As soon as Zeus had grown up, he forced Kronos to take a mixture of wine and mustard and to spit out all his swallowed children again. With the help of his brothers, sisters and other supporters among the gods, Zeus Kronos was overwhelmed and dethroned and became the king of gods and men. Together with his brothers Hades and Poseidon, he cut Kronos into pieces and threw him into the Tartaros.
Kronos and his supporters were locked up in the depths of Tartaros, surrounded by a three / twofold night, and strictly guarded by the Cyclopes and Hekatoncheiren. According to some sources they later received forgiveness, and they were permitted to reside in the Elysian fields. Other myths say that Zeus Kronos escaped to Italy, where he became the ruler of Italy.
