TIMELESSNESSLAND . 38x55cm acrylic on wood. Tjørnuvik 2019

Time folds itself up differently to what I know, here.
It never gets dark. Any time of the day can be any time in the day, mostly. The variation in the light is only defined by the clouds that let in more or less light.
The light variations do not mute over the course of a day gradually, they change constantly in a matter of minutes.
Time, here, for me stands as a mystery.
This timelessness is felt visually also. There is a certain minimalism, a hygiene of elements that brings a sense calmness to the brain. Green folding patterns repeating upon themselves, creating unique formations that keep being shaped by the erosion its constant water flow.

Here are a few images of the process it went though.

This is a piece I painted with a clear intention of portaying the views I´m surrounded with. I usually start a panting not knowing what it will be but this case was different. I was just looking for the shapes and patterns that I find here.

I hope you enjoy it,
Best wishes,
Romanie

So beautiful, @Romanie ! I can feel timelessness through this piece, for sure, as if the skies are suspended in its emotions and the suspension spills into our inner minds and gives us a breathing space. A place for feeling as if for a moment, we can escape from time's fingers...

I love the colours you used here, the pale sky and the verdant, earthy soils, are all so wonderful to me <3

Romanie, you can use the tags: #palnet and #creativecoin to earn some palcoin and creativecoin :) They can be exchanged for Steems easily :)

Thank you Veryspider. I´m not really sure how these tags you mention work. I´ll check it out! Thank you for mentioning!

Related to photos of the place you already posted, there's really a deep link that can be felt between these pictures and what you've previously shown.

You nicely illustrated that out-of-time feeling photos were showing too.

Finally, I love that sky and that weird rendering of yellows and blues, refelcted in water... That gives an very interesting ambiance with an oldish rendering.

Thank you for sharing :)

Thank you! I´m happy to hear. I seem to always fall into making an oldie effect on paintings. I always ask myself why, I still don´t know. hmm

this painting is amazing! you definitely captured that soft, dreamlike quality. the hills remind me of fearie mounds, especially with the inability to tell the passage of time. bravo on your work!
