Take everything you ever learned in your life and put it on a shelf.
Look at this painting. Picture yourself there. Get the feel of nature, imagine what it must smell like, sound like, feel like.
Lay down on your back with your arms to your sides not touching your body.
Close your eyes and picture yourself here. You'll be surprised once you start the next part how tense you really are.
Relax your head, your face... jaw...shoulders... breathe in deeply through your nose, hold 8 secs and release slowly through your mouth. Listen to your breathing. Continue to relax every part of your body. This works great for children who have a hard time sleeping.
Say to yourself, there is no place I have to be at this moment in time, there is nothing I have to do at this moment in time.
Let all the negative images pass right by and go back to that place and repeat that over and over.
The subconscious mind picks up everything we see and hear so there is a lot to filter through that's not important at this moment in time.
Touch the middle of your forehead so you can feel it a little after you stop. Picture it as a white dot. This takes practice.
Thanks for reading and have a good night sleep.
