I painted this yesterday outdoors on the lake front in Queenstown, New Zealand. Painting outdoors is known as painting en plein air.
This painting is on an 8” x 10” canvas panel and is painted in oils.
It was a beautiful crisp winters day and I wanted to capture the snowy mountains again the pine trees and grass at the lake edge in the foreground.

Is this the same one from the spot the painting post earlier? I was only able to skim when I saw that one so didn't have a chance to comment. Your composition is particularly nice with this one, love the reflecting strips of blue :)
