Just finished this pencil sketch which I am going to use as a reference drawing for a painting. This drawing is inspired by the mountains surrounding the village of Glenorchy in Otago, New Zealand.
I have drawn this composition using graphite pencils on grey paper. I used Mars Lumograph black pencils for the dark values in the foreground and I used a white pastel pencil for the snow, grass, tree and rock highlights.
