First time out plein air painting in a while as the weather has been wet and windy for the last couple of weeks. ⁣

So fun painting outside and I also got to try out my new Alla Prima Pochade box made by Ben Haggett.

Ben Haggett hand makes all of these pochade boxes, they are so beautifully crafted, intuitive and a joy to paint on. There is something lovely about painting on a wooden easel. ⁣

I painted this art work in oils outdoors en plein air.⁣

Whoa! What a beauty.
Although I do not know art, I can appreciate this beautiful piece.
You moved me to the past.
My father was taking us to the river on weekends and I remember seeing people sitting, painting outdoors.
It seemed like the closest thing to peace at that time.
Do you feel like that? Do you feel at peace when you paint?
Beautiful your new box, a work of art in itself.
Keep doing great things.
Thank you Curie, a good selection of art.

Thanks for that. Yeah I love painting outdoors and it definitely chills me out and makes me feel happy :)

Thanks for sharing your experience with us!

It was a glorious day over here, looks like the weather was pretty nice over there too :) That box easel thing looks pretty useful, I don't know if it was that one in particular but I remember looking at a box easel in an art shop and wishing I did actually paint because it looked like a cool piece of kit XD

Thanks, yeah that box easel is really nice to paint with. I ordered it from a guy in the USA who hand makes them :)

I don't see anyone commenting how beautiful your painting was, besides it is equal to the background, it was for my spectacular, greetings!

Thanks :)

Wow! I think nothing beats painting nature while in nature!!! 💕

You precisely copied the lush green surrounding the river. Its serenity at its finest. 😍

And the easel box is a great organizer too. How neat! 😉 What a brilliant idea!

It must be very relaxing to paint outside and I am sure that you also get the inspiration quickly. I can imagine that you grow more passionate and 'into the painting' when you're in nature surrounded by trees and water..

It's a lovely painting! Thank you for sharing and have a good day!

Paint outdoors full of energy. This landscape was very beautiful. I don't understand much about the box made by Ben Haggett but you definitely liked it and it was part of the inspiration to make this painting. Can you tell me about that wooden box and colors? I hope to continue seeing more of your works. Kind regards @samuel-earp-art
