I had just about enough daylight left to paint this view after I had finished work.

Painting outdoors is known as painting en plein air, a French term for painting outside. I love painting outdoors.

Beautiful work! Your winter light seems very similar to ours here in the Pacific Northwest... in fact the setting of Port Townsend is not unlike Queenstown; water and mountains everywhere.
