Adrift

in art •  7 years ago  (edited)

One of my personal favorites I did in 2015 with pencils on a4 paper. I really like the flow in this one. The title was somehow inspired by a song called "Adrift" by Cult of Luna. I just started drawing like always and got surprised by the result :)

Working on a recent pencil artwork with progress shots so you can see how my art develops into something weird.

Aww man I love your artworks :D

Thank you very much @w0olf! :)

Wow my friend! Not that is an amazing piece of work! Reminds me of an artist Davor Vrakanic and his pencil style! Excellent, what i have seen so far! Looking forward to seeing more of your art!

Thank you @megy.fine.arts! Didn't know that artist but I just googled it and the pencil work looks amazing :) Thanks I'm working on new stuff, hope to show it soon!

No problem my friend! Keep it up :)

It goes swooooooooooshily! Very nice work, Sander! It really captures the title "Adrift" very well!

Thank you @veryspider! The swoosh is something common when I just start drawing but never get as good as this one. Hope to add new art soon with progress shots. :D

Thanks again for the support!

That's awesome! I love it. I also do a lot of drawing where I just follow the flow. Check it out on my blog

Thank you @samuelhull! Cool love working that way, I'm going to check your stuff out!

Good post...

Thanks!

Cool work.

Thank you :)

For any reason it reminded me to the fabric creature of the XIX ghost tale Come and Whistle My lad, it's haunting, congrats.

Thank you I don't know what you mean but I have to google it :D Thanks for your view and thoughts!

If you look for the tale likely it will pop. I love to draw creatures sometimes. I call them The Underliving (not living but feeling alive) and this resonates in sync in what I like.
