Photo by While in Moshi, Tanzania, I was a media resident with I was sitting in the back of a dala dala looking out of the sliding door, watching as people got persuaded to come into our car instead of the one parked to our right. Dala dalas don't really leave unless they're full. We waited while everyone was unbothered by this, especially the women. Their strength and patience overwhelmed me during my entire month-long stay.
