Two days ago I saw Chappie for the first time, and WOW was I blown away. Contrary to what critics thought, I absolutely loved the movie. Chappie was adorable, it made me laugh, almost cry, and most importantly it made me think.
I will say this one is WAY outside of my normal range of art.
A. I don't draw robots typically
B. I don't typically love something so much that I draw it immediately without knowing the character in and out
C. I have been working on doing small clean detail work, which is quite foreign for me.
I love drawing sloppy
Did you like Chappie as much as I did? Do you have some other similar movie recommendations?
Sorry for the short post, I got REKT at work this week working 60 hours in 5 days... it was hard enough finding time to devote a few hours to draw this!
Yeah man, Chappie was a cool movie and South African :):) Made me proud :) I have a friend that works in the South African film industry as a producer. It's tough, nothing like Hollywood lifestyles. The people in the industry lead simple lives. Cool drawing!!
