Varnhems Klosterkyrka
I mitten på 1100-talet kom abboten Henrik med sina cisterciensermunkar till Varnhem. Då började klosterkyrkan att byggas. Varnhem och dess kloster var ett betydande centrum såväl andligt som politiskt, kulturellt och ekonomiskt. Kyrkan restaurerades på 1600-tlet av Magnus Gabriel de la Gardie som också har sitt gravkors här. Vid den restaureringen fick kyrkan sin praktfulla barockinredning, de mäktiga pelarna och sitt stora centraltorn.
Varnhems Monastery Church
By the middle of the 1100s, the abbey Henrik came with his cistercian monks to Varnhem. Then the monastery church began to be built. Varnhem and its monastery were a significant center both spiritually and politically, culturally and economically. The church was restored in the 1600's by Magnus Gabriel de la Gardie, who also has his grave cross here. At that restoration, the church received its magnificent baroque decor, the mighty columns and its great central tower.

Vid kyrkan ligger cistercienserklostret som verkade för kvinnor. Det grundades på 1100-talet och hade avgörande betydelse för kunskapsinhämpningen under Sveriges medeltid. Idag finns här klostermuseum med klosterträdgård. I stenhallen kan man se fynd från utgrävningarna av klostret och kulisser från Arn-filmerna.
Gudhems Church
At the church is the cistercian monastery that appeared for women. It was founded in the 1100s and was of crucial importance for knowledge retention during Sweden's Middle Ages. Today there is a monastery museum with monastery garden.In the stone hall you can find bargains from the cloisters and scenes of the Arn films.
