Rice ceramic pot small - original celtic pottery by @schamangerbert

Sunday Evening, time for original art!

In today's second post I am going to show you an other handmade pottery pot for rice or any other dry goods.

Celtic Pottery for daily use: Rice pot small

The handmade ceramic is colored in different earth tones, produced by a 7-day fire in the earth furnace. The white tone was overlaid several times with an engobe layer of red clay and then polished with stones. As a result, each liquid is evaporated through the surface and the contents of the pot are always kept dry.

Nice pot! Gonna be nice to have one in my kitchen :)

Thanks for commenting. I also would like to see a vote, if it is ok for you only, thank you for your understanding.

wow, it takes 7 days just for the kiln?

Yes, it is the bronce age technique, it is very much handwork. If I want to sell it then the price will be about 600 Euros, and that is only the working time. But I do not want to :)
A vote would be nice my friend :)

Traditional, authentic and useful! Do you have a picture of your earth furnace oven?

No, it is a iron box, 150 liter, sawdust burner.
But on my internet page there is more information:
