Hello again. Today's art I would like to showcase is a fun little piece from one of my favorite movies growing up - Beetlejuice! I was pretty goth in those days and just loved Wynona Rider.
Like most of my pyrography work, I am using basswood. Color was done using pencils and then sealed with acrylic. The art was wrapped around the side of the wood on the non-live edge for added dimension.
This piece was also the subject of my first ever TiKTok video. I would love to have embedded it in the post for you, but as far as I am aware, that can only be done from YouTube, so if you are interested, here is a link to the video.
You can also check out my last post, a Calvin & Hobbes wood burn.
Otherwise, come check out my other social platforms for more interesting art content, or my Etsy shop to see what is currently available!
