This is the FINAL showcase of entries to my Scenes of Nature Art Conest. I will announce the winners and pay out the prizes later today. Thank you to everyone who participated!
Before the features, I'd like to make a little plug for my recently completed animation. To support my work, please take a look at this post.
And here they are!
Voyager is a mind-bending creation by @marinaart. A ship sails on the ocean toward a wormhole on the horizon. The entire scene is wrapped up in the shape of a sea shell. An incredible amount of depth is added to the piece through stippling. I've dabbled in pointillism in the past, and let me tell you... it is A LOT of work. So kudos to @marinaart for having the patience!
Please make your way to the original post to give the artist an upvote.
This next piece is another ocean scene showing the sun setting and moon rising over the sea while the figure of a woman hovers among the clouds. @joselaboriart created this work of using a chalk base with wax marker highlights.
To find out about the meaning behind the piece and to give it an upvote, check out the original post.
@lillym is the artist behind the last piece of the day, Tree Woman. The woman, the source of life, is rooted in nature and in the earth. She grows and blossoms to give life to all around her. There is a truly striking combination of colour and line work in this piece.

That concludes the showcases of contest entries. I'll announce the winners later today!
