Hope you like it, Steve

This work is 400 x 400 and was done for 38.8 STEEM

YOU could have your own custom profile picture, too -- great for introduce yourself posts here on steemit.

If you'd like your own custom work, I can do a stylized line-art of an existing photo or picture (must be a bust: head, shoulders, and upper chest) with a 4-5 color pallet of your choice. If you don't want to chose a color pallet, I can pick one for you.

Only $5 for a 400 x 400 image with one figure

or $10 for a 800 x 800 image with two figures

Great work @shayne, you are helping to make Steemit a very colourful place!

Have you sold any works for Steem? There must be a few whales who would pay good money for art

I'm finding taking commissions for steem to be a very lucrative option. I'm only starting to do it so prices are pretty low, but once people become comfortable with the commission economy in steemit native currency, I see no reason why more intricate pieces wouldn't be an option.

Thanks @opheliafu :D

It's a good way to build up some Steem. I hope others will want pics

It's actually been a great way to do it. I've had a commission every day since I started doing them here on steemit. Yesterday I had two, and today I'm starting off with two.

Ha! Not sure about the pink eyes and I haven't been blond since I was a kid, but it made me laugh. I'll have a play with the colours. Thanks for doing this. I've been looking for places to spend my Steem and paying artists seems like a good one.

As someone else said, you may want to watch what tags you use. Maybe come up with one of your own for these posts so that people can find them all.

If you like I can send you a png of just the line art if you want to try different colors.

That would be cool. You can link it here or mail to the same user name on gmail.

I did quickly try changing in Paint, but that missed a few bits. I saw @kevinwong had variations. Can go all Andy Warhol on it :)
