Mr Dog the Third: Trinity - original artwork :)

Hello Steemit friends :)

Here's the third linocut- three dogs playing cards. Not so holy Trinity. This is one of my first linocuts ever made.
I like it mainly because of the nonchalance of the dogs, especially the one on the right. Because the one on the left seems... reluctant or tired. And the one in the middle was supposed to look unconcerned and confident, but does he look this way at all? Perhaps.

The common theme of my Mr Dog Series is the indifference to one's misdeeds and misconceptions. These Mr Dog portraits are supposed to look happy at first glance, and not so nice at the second one. These dogs are supposed to look like gentlemen at first glance, and thugs at the second one (actually, there comes one unmannerly pun to my mind on how to describe them, that I'm not going to use here. I can tell you what I mean by that in private :) ) As I've told you before, in the first Mr Dog post, this little set is inspired by violence, and I'm interested in observing and portraying violence that is hard to spot. However I do not create works with this theme frequently, this is a bit of an exception.

Tomorrow I will post the last linocut from my Mr Dog Series. Here you can see the first and the second Mr Dog ;)

And then I will publish my linocats- meaning linocut cats. I think I should stop writing this post because some strange writing mannerisms of mine are starting to take over. Also I need to translate every other sentence with google translate, and it's getting really... I don't know, depressing, I reckon. I will show you a preview of my Cat set for reference:

I chose the angriest of my linocut cats, so that it would be relevant to the Mr Dog series :) Do you like it? I have many more linocats. Soon you will be able to see all of them :)
